Commands Reference
While Julia understands natural language for most tasks, there are a few special commands that trigger specific account and system actions. These commands are useful shortcuts for common administrative tasks.
Available Commands
| Command | Description | Aliases |
|---|---|---|
/start | Create a new Julia account. This is the first command new users should send to begin using Julia. | start, create, new |
/link | Link another messaging channel (WhatsApp or Telegram) to your existing account. Generates a 6-character code valid for 10 minutes. | link, link account |
/account | View your account status including subscription plan, usage statistics, and get a magic link to access your dashboard. | account, subscription |
/start — Create Account
The /start command creates a new Julia account linked to your messaging channel. If you're messaging Julia for the first time, this is how you begin.

/start
✅ Account created! Welcome to Julia. To personalize your experience, you can tell me: • Your name (just say "My name is [name]") • Your email (for billing & notifications) • Your timezone (or I'll try to detect it) Or just start chatting — you can update these later with /account. Commands: • /link — Connect another channel • /account — View & manage your account
Note
If you already have an account and want to connect a new channel, use /link instead. Using /start on a new channel will create a separate account unless you link them.
/link — Link Channels
Use /link to connect multiple messaging channels to the same Julia account. This allows you to use Julia on both WhatsApp and Telegram while sharing the same data, preferences, and connected services.
Linking Process
- 1On your existing channel (where you already have an account), send
/link - 2Julia replies with a 6-character code (e.g., "AB3F9K")
- 3On your new channel, send the code as your first message
- 4Julia confirms the channels are linked

Online
/link
Send this code from the other channel within 10 minutes: AB3F9K
Important Notes
- • The code expires after 10 minutes for security
- • Codes are single-use and case-insensitive
- • If you have data on both channels, accounts will be merged
- • When merging, the older account becomes the primary
/account — Account Status
The /account command shows your current subscription status, usage statistics, and provides a secure magic link to access your web dashboard.

Magic Links
The manage account link is a secure, one-time-use magic link that expires after 1 hour. It allows you to access your dashboard without entering a password. This is the same passwordless authentication used by services like Slack and Notion.
Natural Language Alternatives
You don't have to memorize commands. Julia understands natural language equivalents:
/start="create account"or"new account"or"get started"/link="link my account"or"connect channel"or"add telegram"/account="show my account"or"subscription status"or"how many messages do I have left"
